Ages 12 & up
Learn one-person technique for adult,
child, infant CPR, AED and barrier
use. Recognize signs of the four major
emergencies. Course is designed for
lay-persons and workplace requirements.
Textbooks cost $15 and will
be available at class. A two-year
certification card is issued from the
American Heart Association upon successful
completion.

This course is for those who require
training in basic first aid skills only
without CPR. This program will
provide first aid training to students,
giving them the skills necessary to
manage illnesses and injuries until
the arrival of EMS. A two year course
completion card will be issued upon
course completion. Student packets
will be issued in class, no textbook
is required. Course does not include
CPR.

This course covers all First Aid segments
and Adult CPR with Automated
External Defibrillation (AED) preparing
students to respond and care for
medical emer-gencies. A single twoyear
card will be issued upon course
completion. This course is ideal for
the lay-person or for industry and is
accepted by Cal OSHA for workplace
certification. Student packets will be
issued in class, no textbook is required.

oxygen and barrier use. Intended for
present and future EMT’s, paramedics,
nurses, occupational therapists
and lifeguards to mention a few. Valid
for college entrance prerequisites and
accepted by all CA State Boards. Textbooks
cost $15 and will be available
at class. A two-year certification card
is issued from the American Heart Association
upon successful completion.

emergencies. A single two-year

a one-hour lunch break. Note for
licensed daycare providers: Class is
approved by State Daycare Licensing
and we are required to affix their approval
sticker to your card at a cost of
$6, payable at class.

Babysitters learn CPR, relief of
foreign-body airway obstruction,
the AHA pediatric infant and
child Chain of Survival, signs of
choking and prevention of the
most common injuries in infants
and children. Designed for those
who have completed the Certified
Babysitting Course. An American
Heart Association participation
card is presented upon completion
of the course.
