NEW! Themed Cookie Decorating
Ages 8 - 14 Bake and decorate beautiful themed cookies! Learn to make cookie dough (roll and cutout), icing, and develop skills in outlining and filling cookies with royal icing. Each class has a different seasonal theme. Students will take home their decorated cookies along with a gift bag filled with recipes, notes, tips and a cookie cutter. Ballet

Ages 4 & up
Techniques taught are based on the accepted standards of both the
Cecchetti (Italian) and Vaganova (Russian) schools of ballet. Students
will also learn “character” dance. A traditional folk-style dance used in
the scenery action of ballet and opera productions. The program culminates with a Spring recital performance. Students must pre-register with Athena Baker by calling (530) 626-3694.

for Kids
Ages 8 - 12
Learn basic skills to use Adobe Photoshop CS2 and make your own creative projects. Projects include posters, puzzles,
collages, funny faces, bookmarks, cards and more! Show your creativity while learning a program that is made for professionals. Beginners (Please bring a $5 materials fee to the instructor at class.)

Learn baton twirling, coordination, rhythm and dance techniques with
a two-time World Baton Twirling Champion. A $25 materials fee for a

Jewelry Design
Ages 8 - 17
Learn techniques that allow you to make your own custom jewelry. The
basics of color pairing and jewelry design are used to produce ageappropriate projects that you can take home and wear. No experience

For the young performer who wants to improve their acting and singing skills. Play theatre games, dance, sing songs, and work with each child to help them gain confidence in their performance abilities. Certified Babysitting

This two-day course includes the information and skills necessary to
provide safe and responsible care for children. Participants will develop

Beginners Youth Fencing Class
Ages 7 & up
Fencing, the art of swordsmanship, has been practiced for centuries.
The sport develops your flexibility, strength and speed. It is the fastest
martial sport of them all and it’s FUN!!! Fencing is great for all ages
and levels of athletic ability. Learn sportsmanship and self-discipline.
Fencing equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.

Experience the wonderful world of art and creativity! Young artists will
learn hands-on techniques in creating many works of art. Students expand their creative knowledge in sketching, painting, watercolor, fabric art, charcoal, stone art, pastels, foil art and much, much more. Our final
project is an art show exhibiting our masterpieces. Dress for mess and

Youth Karate

Learn exercise and coordination within a self-defense and fighting system. In a multi-leveled class, workouts are scaled to each person’s ability. Classes are organized, friendly and non-competitive.
