Weisberg Park (Art Weisberg Memorial Park) (Capacity 200)
Art Weisberg Park is located on the corner of Francisco and Pendleton Drives across the street from Jackson Elementary School. The park is situated in a wooded area with picnic areas, barbecues and horseshoe pits. It is a beautiful park that is adjacent to the New York Creek nature trail.
Art Weisberg was a volunteer with the EDH Fire Department and very active with the CSD, He was considered a driving force supporting the community and residents. Mr. Weisberg suffered a heart attack while at his home in El Dorado Hills the morning of September 5, 1972. He died en route to the hospital.
The Community Services District decided to name the park after Mr. Weisberg in honor of his dedication to the community.
